The Full Story
Elbert County Self Reliance Network
We – the citizens of Elbert County need to “BE PREPARED” for any kind of emergency which may come our way.

Our county-wide self reliance network is just getting started in 2024!
The Network will include a wide spectrum including: citizens groups, local non-profits, businesses, county and town agencies, and individual citizen activists.
As of January 2024 several citizens groups have joined the network: American Self Reliance- Book Club, Elbert County Stands Up, and ECCO (Elbert County Coalition Outreach). Together they are organizing the third Self Reliance Market Expo event on April 13, 2024.
The Network will advertise great local learning opportunities offered in our county. Check out American Self Reliance’s classes for spring 2024.

Stay tuned for updates as the Network grows and begins to make an impact on helping all of us more self- reliant and less dependent on current systems or government entities.

Mission
The main purpose of the Network is to facilitate communication among the various groups and people represented. Excellent communication enhances our ability to work together effectively in times of crisis.
Goal
The Network will set goals and develop a coordinated plan to reach our objectives! Everyone has an important role to play in the overall picture!

Get Prepared.
Stay Prepared.
Most residents of Elbert County have a keen awareness of difficulties in our society. We see the financial institutions struggling as we continue to see bank closures. Our federal government is laboring under enormous debt, creating an unstable dollar as well as sparking massive inflation. We see food shortages in the future and continued pressures on farms and ranches. The federal government has abandoned its responsibilities, allowing a tremendous influx of undocumented illegal migrants, many single men of military age to come into the United States, WITH the assistance of government officials. World War 3 is openly discussed, as is civil war. These are just a few areas of concern for our country and our county.
